RUFC - Miller up for award

Rotherham United`s Marcus Marshall is among the running for the League Two ESPN PFA Fans' Award for December.

The twenty-one year old joined the Millers from Blackburn, firstly on a long loan and then, at the start of this season, he signed a permanent contract.

Marcus impressed Vital Rotherham and Millers Mad enough while on loan that, at the end of last season, we awarded him our Mitch Cassell Believe Trophy that goes to the most promising young player of the season.

So far this season, in our Player of the Season table, Marcus is equal second with Kevin Ellison behind 'keeper Andy Warrington.

Also on the shortlist is Jack Lester and Jamie Lowry of Chesterfield, Chris Dunn of Northampton, Stuart Beavon of Wycombe.
