Vital Rotherham's Player of the Month - December

Vital Rotherham's Player of the Month - December

Rotherham United have only played one game in December but Vital Rotherham voters voted Marcus Marshall as the Man of the Match for that game against Aldershot Town - therefore, the twenty-one year old has also got the Vital Rotherham Player of the Month for December!

Personally, I think he would probably have been in the running for it anyway as he`s certainly been one, if not the, most outstanding player, for me, in the last few games.

Marcus joined the Millers from Blackburn Rovers, originally on a months` emergency loan last January which stretched to the end of the season. Then, in the summer, he signed a permanent deal with Rotherham and has played fifteen times this season, scoring twice. His first goal came in the League Cup at Peterborough when he put the Millers into the lead on nine minutes, unfortunately for the League Two side, Posh were too strong for them and the Millers lost four-one. Marcus`s last goal was in the two-two draw with Northampton, at Don Valley, last month.
