'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC -Moore 'can't under estimate Macclesfield'

Rotherham United travel to Macclesfield tomorrow afternoon on the back of a five-nil win on Saturday, with Manager, Ronnie Moore saying that they are a tough side.

Speaking to MillersPlayer Moore said, 'You can't under estimate Macclesfield, even though their recent form hasn't been good for them. They've got some great youngsters in there and if you look at the budget they've got to work with they do fantastic to survive year in, year out.'

Asked if he was concerned about the backlog of games, Moore said, 'No. Last year it was only us who went six weeks without a game. This year it's more or less everybody and there will be an awful lot of teams playing Saturday, Tuesday, Saturday, Tuesday. And, although it didn't work out last year, sometimes you are better playing Saturday, Tuesday.

'We've got a big enough squad this year and a better squad this season to deal with it. If we pick up an injury the players are more than capable to come in and take over from the lad who's out injured.'
