RUFC - Moore 'won't perform like that again'

Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore said, after the team pulled together and got a last gasp draw on Tuesday night at Stockport, that he thinks he's got a better bunch of lads in his squad at the moment than he had last season.

Speaking to Radio Sheffield, Moore said, 'We had a good dressing room last year but this year there are better players in there. I really do think, this time last year, we'd have lost that game at Stockport. But they kept going and we got the goal at the right time and, in the end, though it would have been daylight robbery, we could have won it. In the end it really feels like a win but we shouldn't be going to Stockport County who have conceded goals all over at home and be hanging on three-one down with six minutes to go.

'We get a good early chance to put that right when we play them again on the 29th of January.

'I think when we play the bigger teams that's fine but it's the ones where everyone expects you to win that there's the attitude that it's going to be easy - well we won't have that again. We've got to learn from this and I'm sure that we won't get a performance like that again.'

What do you think? Is this seasons squad better than last seasons? Come and tell us, here on Vital Rotherham what you think ...
