'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Moore talks about Jaybo

Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore had a few words to say about midfielder Jason Taylor this week after the Stockport game.

Speaking to Radio Sheffield Moore said, 'Jason Taylor is one of our big leaders and he's had a little bit of stick and I don't know why. He's not going to be one of them that puts a sixty yard pass in and kill people but he holds that midfield together and he talks a lot. He does the simple things that is allowing Nicky Law to bomb on and get into good positions.

'Jason Taylor is the type of character we need and we didn't have that last year. He's in there now, winding people up and getting people going which is what you need.'

Taylor, who was out on loan to Rochdale for most of last season, has been involved in twenty-six games for the Millers in this campaign, scoring two goals, his latest being recently at Macclesfield. Jaybo joined the Millers from County in January 2009.

Have you been giving Jaybo some stick? If so, why?

Scored against Macc Town, not Stockport unfortunately. He is very frustrating because he misplaces so many easy passes but I support anyone who wears the shirt and the manager knows more about football then I ever will. You can tell by his reaction to our goals on Tuesday that he is a determined player and some of that is bound to rub off on his team mates.
