RUFC - Moore hopes Paddy comes back fit and ready

Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore is hoping that when defender/midfielder, Stephen Brogan comes back from his loan spell with non-league Stalybridge Celtic, he will be in good fettle to have another go at getting into the Millers side.

Twenty-two year old Brogan has been, more or less, languishing in the Reserves this season, just playing the four games for the first team while only getting eight games last season.

Speaking to The Advertiser, Moore said, 'He`s gone to Stalybridge to get himself fit.

'Gateshead came in for him last season and he refused to go but this year ha has got the bit between his teeth and realises he`s not playing at the moment and the only way to get himself match fit is to go out and get games.

'It`s a tough league he`s gone to play in and we just hope he comes back looking forward to playing league football again.`

Stalybridge Celtic are currently fourteenth in the Conference North, losing their last two games, though Brogan did score on his debut for the club against Alfreton Town.

Meanwhile, the Millers have put out a circular of players they have available for loan, one of them being Welsh International, Mark Bradley.

'We`ve got a lot of good players here who have not been able to play their part,` Moore said. 'Some have come and told me that, while they might be happy here, they aren`t the sort to sit on the sidelines and they want to go out on loan. That`s commendable and I respect that.`
