RUFC - Albion say no bid for striker

Rotherham United have NOT put in a bid for Burton Albion striker Shaun Harrad according to the Brewers Manager, Paul Peschisolido.

Millers Manager, Ronnie Moore has made no secret of the fact that he is interested in the former Notts County forward saying 'he`s exactly the sort of player we want here.`

But, Peschisolido wants to hang onto the twenty-six year old who has scored thirteen goals for the Brewers this season, including a hat-trick against the Millers at Don Valley in September.

'Shaun has shown that he can score against a Championship side,` Peschisolido said, referring to Harrad`s goal against Cardiff City in the League Cup at the start of the season, 'and I know that is the level he would like to play.

'But, who knows what will happen?`

Who knows indeed. I'm not sure Ronnie Moore actually ever said he had put in a bid for Harrad although he has made it clear that he's interested in him. Time, as they say, will tell.
