RUFC - Moore to forgive Randall

Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore is ready to forgive and forget the incident that left the Millers a player short on Tuesday night at Edgeley Park against Stockport County.

Midfielder, Mark Randall, on loan from Premiership big boys Arsenal, failed to get to Stockport due to his car breaking down which, at the time, left Moore spitting feathers and threatening all sorts.

After fining the twenty-one year old, whose loan spell ends at the end of the month, Moore told Radio Sheffield, 'He will take his punishment and it will be forgotten.

'The last thing he wants to do is leave here with a bad name but we have to take the stance that no one is bigger than the club.`

I think a lot of us fans were quite mystified by his non-appearance at Stockport until the rumours came through that his car had broken down on the way. We all rolled our eyes and shrugged our shoulders. We probably could have done with Randall on Tuesday night but these things happen. Yes, he's a professional football and has to learn what is important but hey, he's also a kid - and kids do daft things don't they....and I somehow don't think he'll make the same mistake twice!

Do you think they'll make him stay at Rotherham to the end of the season as "punishment"?
