RUFC - Coid to go back to Blackpool

Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore told Radio Sheffield today that he was going to have to let Danny Coid go back to Blackpool.

'He's not going to be fit for about three weeks,' Moore said, 'and we can't afford to wait for that to settle down.

'But I'd like to try and do something with him. He knows the situation and possibly something can be done at the end of the season.

'After today, there's no doubt we need to bring someone in. There's one or two players out there, and I'm not going to name them because they know who they are, who are having a bad time. And, at the stage that we're at we can't afford to wait for them and I'll be trying to bring a couple of new faces in before we go to Wycombe.

'I know where the weakness are at this present time and we need to do something about it.'

Asked about Ryan Taylor, who is close to signing a new contract with the club, Moore said, 'Hopefully that will be done on Monday and it will be a two and a half year contract.

'He's led the line well again today without us having too many chances. Alfie (Adam Le Fondre) isn't quite at his best at the moment, I can't remember the last time he had a shot. But he'll play himself through that and hopefully he'll get back to the Alfie that we know and need.'
