'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Who Is To Blame?

No doubt the discussions will go on and on but who do you feel let England down in the World Cup?
Here are a few pointers for you to discuss in the forum.

1.Was Svens tactics all wrong?
2.Only four strikers, was that a mistake?
3.Should we have taken Owen, knowing he was carrying an injury?
4.Was Wayne Rooneys sending off our downfall?
5.Did we just not get into the tournament? too many key players had too many off days?

I am sure there are lots and lots more points to discuss, for me i thought the team under performed and i feel Sven got the team and the tactics all wrong.

Discuss this in the Forum.

4 strikers would have p'raps been OK if 2 of them had been fit to start with. Thought on more than one occasion various players didn't look up for it.

Same old story, the years of hurt continue.

" yes next world cup-the 3 lions song will be 46 years of hurt and still weve won feck all-lol"

Lampard thought he was playing rugby with most of his kicking through the world cup. We should never have taken Walcott, with players like Bent and Defoe fit. I think it's time to draw a line under this world cup. Roll on the Euros!

The blame shouldn't rest on any one person, football is a team game!
rybel_b
yes but the manager is supposed to control the team and pick the right players which he did nt do
