RUFC - Darley signs extension

Rotherham United youth team graduate, Grant Darley has signed a six month extension to his contract today.

Midfielder Darley originally signed a six month contract in the summer and has impressed Manager, Ronnie Moore, enough that he's offered him the contract which takes him to the end of the season.

Speaking to the Official Site, Grant said, 'I've enjoyed my first few months with the first team and I'm really happy to be given another contract.'

Not having made a first team appearance yet, the youngster was on the subs bench for three games this season.

'I've had a few injury problems,' Grant said, 'which hasn't really helped my progress. But, I'm back fit now and will continue to work hard to impress the gaffer.'

All at Vital Rotherham send congratulations to Grant on his extended contract.
