'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Moore slams spineless performance

In what was Rotherham's first visit to Stevenage's Lamex Stadium on Tuesday they came away with a right good hiding, being spanked 3-0.

Ronnie Moore, as he told BBC Radio Sheffield, was less than impressed - to put it mildly!

The Millers manager branded the performance 'spineless' and 'gutless' saying that they were 'abysmal' and no one came out of the game with any credit: 'spineless, gutless, that's a start. You would have thought we were fourth or fifth from bottom the way we played.

'That's not us. It's the first time I've seen a side beat us up really.

'It was just an abysmal performance today and I don't think anyone has come away with any credit and that's what disappoints me.'

So, to say that Moore was unhappy would be an understatement...

Spineless? Gutless? Abysmal? Hey... I thought that was us at Stockport. Stand by for goals on Saturday Millers. Probably in the County net. :(

Yes, after the Stockport game Ronnie said "We will not play like that again! And it wasn't the first time we'd heard that, then!! The players weren't the only ones to come away with no credit, were they, Ronnie??
