'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Striker has no plans to stay?

Rotherham want to tie Adam Le Fondre down to a new contract although the striker has confirmed he has no intention of signing a new deal with the Millers.

Le Fondre still has 18-months left on his existing contract, although it looks like it will be his last: 'I'm not going to discuss a new contract - I'm just going to play out my current one.

'It doesn't affect me if other players decide to sign new deals because it's all about me and my family.

'Nothing else will influence me. I'll play my hardest and see where it takes me.'

Le Fondre has been prolific in the lower leagues, and scored a hatful of goals last season although it would seem that an interest from clubs at a higher level has not gone unnoticed and moving on is something the 24-year-old would like.
