RUFC - Moore says his strikers worked hard

Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore said that both his strikers, Adam Le Fondre and Ryan Taylor both worked hard today.

Speaking to Radio Sheffield after the three-one win at Don Valley over Crewe, Moore said, 'I thought Ryan Taylor was a handful today. He's looking better and stronger every time we see him and it was a fantastic finish from him as well. He chased Dave Artell and he's got a little knock of it, won it, come inside and smacked it. And, had he not been willing to chase Dave Artell and put him under pressure that goal wouldn't have happened.

'Alfie (Adam Le Fondre) has been going through a little patch where he was giving it away and things weren't sticking there. But it's only Alfie who can get on the end of something like that today and he's got enough on it to stick it in the back of the net for us.'

Asked about Nick Fenton's recent spurt of goals - none for two years then three already this season, Moore said, 'Long may it continue. Since I've been here he's had a lot of chances and they just haven't gone in and, to be honest, I don't even know what he was doing there today when the balls come in! But, for him to get on the end of it was pleasing for everybody.'
