RUFC - Moore on Daley

Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore says the deal that has brought Omar Daley to the Millers is a 'great deal'.

Speaking to Radio Sheffield after the deal that saw Kevin Ellison swap places with Daley, Moore said, 'Omar has got bags of pace. He's direct and he can catch pigeons, he's that quick and we have to make sure we play the right type of balls to him. Whether he's going to start or whether he's going to be an impact player, we will just have to wait and see. But he gives us cover everywhere and he can cause one or two teams a few problems.

'He's a typical winger. You look at most wingers at this level and on a good day they are brilliant but on a bad day they're awful which is the frustrating thing about players at this level and it's why they don't move on and play at the next step up. He's got bags of ability and I think he just wants a new challenge and I hope he can get that here with us. And I don't mean just for now we're looking for next season as well.

'He knows he's come into the club and he's got to fight to get in the team and I'm sure he's willing to do that. There's seventeen games left and it will depend what system we play as to whether he gets a game.'
