RUFC - Millers sign Kennedy on loan

Rotherham United have signed Callum Kennedy from Swindon Town on a months loan today.

The twenty-one year old said he found out about the Millers interest in him after a Reserve game on Wednesday.

Speaking to MillersPlayer, Callum said, 'I'm excited that I am here to play some games.

'I know that Rotherham United are a good club who seem to be doing pretty well in League Two at the moment. I went to Gillingham in November on loan and got a few games under my belt and I think that will benefit me a fair bit.

'I'd like to think I'm an attacking full back who can get forward and put some crosses in.

'It will be nice to be part of a winning side. I've come here to play games so hopefully I'll play on Saturday at Oxford. I played at their ground for Gillingham where we won one-nil and there will be a few people at Swindon who wouldn't mind me getting one over on Oxford!'

Callum has come through the youth ranks at Swindon and has made seventeen appearances for the first team.
