'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Moore pleased to get his man

Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore was pleased to sign Callum Kennedy from Swindon today saying that he'd been chasing him for a while.

'He's a big lad with a great left peg,' Moore told MillersPlayer. 'He know what it's like to play at this level because he's had a months loan at Gillingham where he lost one and won three with them. Swindon think very highly of him which is why it's only a loan deal and not a permanent deal. They'd only let him out for a month but if we like him and he likes us here maybe we could do something until the end of the season.

'He's a talker and has a little bit of pace who likes to get forward but he can defend. He's a fantastic player with a big future.

'It's fantastic that the boy wants to come and wants to play and it means there will be competition on that left hand side. We've watched him in reserve games playing wide left but, with Omar coming in, we are alright in the department but he'll go into the side for the game tomorrow.'
