RUFC - Cress and Warney on the mend

Rotherham United skipper, Ryan Cresswell is now back in full contact training.

After missing the last few weeks with a broken shoulder, the twenty-three year old had a follow up consultation with his surgeon on Wednesday plus further X-Rays and physio, Dennis Circuit says that the report they got back was that the shoulder is fully healed.

'The surgeon was more than happy with it and said Ryan could start full contact immediately,` Dennis told MillersPlayer

Asked if the game against Accrington on Tuesday night would be too early, Dennis said, 'Well, not from his injury point of view but, I think, from him having ten weeks out I think it`s a big ask, unless there were emergencies, which I`m sure Ryan would jump at.

'I`m just looking forward to Wednesday for him, for the Reserve game.`

Asked about Paul Warne, who has been ill for the last few days, meaning he missed the Nostalgia Society`s meeting on Thursday, Dennis said, 'He phoned in one day saying he didn`t feel well and the next day he could hardly talk which, for Paul Warne, is a wonder in itself! So, you can tell how ill he was. He had really bad tonsillitis but, after a week off, he`s now back in training and, unfortunately, his talking is back to normal!`
