RUFC - Moore 'Henderson 'fantastic''

Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore was asked about the loan signing of Liam Henderson after the striker played the full ninety minutes of tonight's game.

'It was a strange one,' Moore told Radio Sheffield. 'It was all done today. He doesn't know anybody, he's just come into the dressing room, got the shirt on and gone out there and played and he's been fantastic I think.

'He's worked his socks off. He's chased things. He's run past Alfie (Adam Le Fondre) a few times and closed people down and he did fantastic for the second goal. He's chased a lost cause and played a great little ball in for Alfie to score.

'And, the referee said if Omar (Daley) hadn't scored the first goal, he'd have given the penalty because the lad has pulled Henderson as he's turned him. So, that would have been interesting.'

I thought Henderson had a really good game this evening. He was one of the bright sparks tonight for me amongst a pretty dull bunch out there.
