'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Moore pre Torquay

Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore says that he expects Torquay to be 'nice and fresh` for this evening`s game at Plainmoor.

Speaking to Radio Sheffield, Moore said, 'It`s us that`s got the six and a half hour travel down there which is crazy because this is the second time we`ve done it and it shouldn`t have got to that stage. But, we`ve got to do it.

'Once the game starts they`ve got the home advantage and it`s down to us to make sure we come away with something.

'Everyone is fit, though Ryan Cresswell and Ian Thomas-Moore will stay behind. Ian will have a chance of being fit for Saturday but Cresser will probably need a game in the reserves next week but after that, I would have thought he will be pushing for a first team start.`

After the dreadful away form the Millers have had, Moore was pleased that, on Saturday, they got a win. 'It was a dreadful first half,` he said, 'but we were great the second half. I think the turning point was the penalty, though I didn`t think it was a pen because Marshall got his toe to the ball, but when he hit the bar you got to thinking it might be your day. You could see the relief from the boys that we weren`t three down and it was only two-one still.

'The stats say every time we concede a goal we lose so it was nice that we`ve come back and stopped that awful away form that we`ve had.`
