RUFC - Moore on Mullins injury

Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore said that Johnny Mullins doesn`t know where he is at the best of times after the defender came off looking dazed on twenty-five minutes tonight.

He`d been involved in a couple of challenges to his head and Moore told Radio Sheffield, 'He`s OK. He`s a little bit dizzy.

'He told me he was seeing stars, but I didn`t see too many out there! He`ll be OK for Saturday.`

Asked about Callum Kennedy`s omission from the squad today, Moore said, 'We brought eighteen players down for the game but he started to feel sick and ill in the hotel. I think he`s picked up a virus so, unfortunately for us, he had to sit on the coach. We need to keep him away from the other players.

'It`s a shame because he had a good chance of playing today.`

Talking about Omar Daley, who only managed a place on the bench today, Moore said, 'I thought young Liam (Henderson) played that well on Saturday when he came on for the twenty minutes that we`d give him another look out there.

'I was tempted to put Omar on for the last twenty minutes but when you`re that much in control of the game you`re thinking if we change it and something doesn`t go quite right when the lads are on the front foot which was the reason we didn`t change it. But he understands that.`

Also on the bench was Arsenal loanee, Mark Randall who Moore says hasn`t adjusted to life in League Two yet. 'He knows that which is why he`s on the bench at the moment. But, he`s learning and each day in training we are trying to do some man-to-man marking on him. He`s learning a trade but it`s no where near the Arsenal playing out here in the second division with people closing him down. It takes time when you`ve not been used to that and he is a quality player and if he can add that part to his game then I think he still has a part to play for us this season.`
