RUFC - Moore 'have to get out of the traps early'

Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore has told his players he wants them to be 'hungry` as they go into another busy week starting tomorrow at Don Valley.

Speaking to The Star, Moore said, 'We need that tempo and hunger that we had at Barnet. No foot off the pedal, let`s get out of the traps early.`

This seems to have been the Millers problem of late - having a poor first half yet playing a very good second half and Moore said, 'If we play like we did in the first half at Burton and the first twenty minutes at Torquay then we won`t be in the top three. But, if they play like we did in those second halves then no one will live with them. Can we do that on Saturday?`

In The Advertiser the Millers Manager has said that he`d like nine points from the next three games - two at Don Valley and one midweek game away at Bradford - saying, 'Nine points would set our season up and seven points wouldn`t be too bad.

'We can`t keep chasing games. We`re at home tomorrow and we`ve got to get out of the blocks and get on the front foot.`
