RUFC - Loanee would be happy to stay longer

Rotherham United loan striker, Liam Henderson would love to have a shot at promotion with the Millers and hopes that both his parent club Watford and Rotherham United can do some sort of deal so he can stay after his original loan spell is up on 18th March.

'The Manager at Watford, (Malky Mackay) wants me to go out and get some games,` the twenty-one year old told The Advertiser. 'Hopefully, the door isn`t shut for me there but this is a great opportunity for me to put myself in the shop window.

'I`m just trying to play and get a run of form going and hopefully I can prove my worth to the club, the manager and the boys. I don`t want to jinx anything because it`s up to the manager, but I`d be more than willing to stay.

'There`s a good spirit here, which you`ve seen over the last few games and although we didn`t play that well against Accrington or Burton we ground out a win.`

I think the lads done well since he came to us. What are your thoughts? Come and tell us here at Vital Rotherham
