'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Chairman pleased with fans response

Rotherham United Chairman, Tony Stewart is delighted with the fans response to the designs of the new stadium that were unveiled last week.

Speaking to David Beddows of The Advertiser, Mr Stewart said, 'We`ve had a lot of feedback from the supporters and it`s clear that they are gagging for this as much as we are. They can now see a light at the end of the tunnel and, at this time of doom and despondency, it`s something to look forward to.

'The stadium will do a lot for the town, it will turn heads and people will come in and have a look.

'We want to be in a higher division with different clubs and different challenges. The talking has been done and the players now have to show us they want it as much as we do.`
