'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Barnet a potential banana skin

Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore says that Saturday's game with Barnet, who are in the relegation places at the moment, is a potential banana skin.

Speaking to Radio Sheffield, Moore said, 'These are the games that worry everyone. Players get complacent and think it's going to be easy but they are fighting for their lives.

'They've got pace all over and if we aren't focussed, which we should be and we will be, then we'll be in trouble. The biggest thing for me is coming out for the first half and playing at a high tempo and not slowing it down but keep coming at them. Hopefully that's what we will do.'

Talking about Barnet's forwards, Steve Kabba and Izale McLeod, Moore said, 'They've got some pace, experience, goals and are clever and there's no doubt about it, they will be a danger and if our back four aren't right they are going to score. And they've got Sam Deering and Mark Marshall and those two will catch pigeons because they are quick, inconsistent, but quick.

'But we know their weaknesses and we have to make sure that our back four don't get caught out by a big hoof from their back four and we have to be disciplined and organised but I'm sure Nick Fenton will organise that.

'We have to put them under pressure and if we do that then this is a game we will win.'
