'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Moore on Mullins

Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore said he didn`t think his back four was tested that much this afternoon in the nil-nil with Barnet at Don Valley.

'It was just late on, when we were down to ten, that the 'keeper has had to make some saves.

Speaking to Radio Sheffield about Johnny Mullins, who had to come off on Tuesday after being hit in the face with the ball and then getting an elbow, who was hit in the face again with the ball today, Moore said, 'He`s going through that dizzy spell and looked like he`d have to come off again but he`s thrown his body in today and made blocks at the right time.`

Asked about Ryan Cresswell, who Moore says needs ninety minutes under his belt before he gets back in the first team, he said, 'We haven`t managed to get a friendly arranged for Wednesday yet, but we will do, even if we have to play among ourselves.

'I`d love him to be playing on Tuesday night but if I throw him in and he does a hamstring or does a calf then he`s out for six weeks, well it`s daft to do it, so we aren`t going to take a chance on him.`
