'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Former Blade training with Millers

Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore has had striker Jordan Robertson who is without a club at the moment, training with the team.

Twenty-three year old Robertson joined his home side Sheffield United as a trainee, and has been out on loan to various clubs. In October 2009 he was sentenced to thirty-two months in prison for causing death by dangerous driving. Since coming out of prison Jordan has been training with Dundee.

Speaking to MillersPlayer Moore said, 'He's a player who has tremendous ability and hopefully he can fulfil it with us. He's big and strong with pace and scores goals.

He's come here for us to have a look at him and we really need to see him play on Wednesday which is why we need a game.

'If it works out it will be a bonus for us because there will be a lot of interest in him. Part of the reason he's come here first is that he's a local lad and knows Ryan Cresswell. We'll see how it progresses and take it from there.'
