RUFC - Green going well for Pilgrims

Rotherham United defender, Jamie Green is pleased to be getting the chance to play while on loan with Blue Square Bet North side, Boston United.

Speaking to Boston's Official Site after their two-nil win over Droylsden on Saturday, Jamie said, 'It was a really good game. The lads put in 110 percent effort and we came out with what I thought we deserved — a clean sheet and three points, which is great for the team.'

Jamie created both goals on Saturday saying, 'I relished the opportunity to get down the left wing and I gave their right-back a tough time. I really enjoyed it.'

Jamie only managed three League starts for the Millers this season, the last one being in January at Stevenage and said, 'My career has been at a standstill for a few months and it was nice to get the ball rolling again and be involved in a team where you feel wanted.'

Jamie is expected to start for Boston again tomorrow evening when they take on Stafford Rangers.

Well done, Jamie!
