RUFC - Moore hoping to extend loans

Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore is hoping to be able to extend the deals of loanees, Liam Henderson from Watford and Callum Kennedy from Swindon.

Both the loans, that were originally for a month, will be up shortly and Moore told Millers Player, 'I`d like to be able to bring them both in to the end of the season, and maybe even longer. '

Danny Coid is in his second, and last loan, spell with the Millers and that can`t be extended due to Football League rules and Moore was asked if he would be looking for another right-back to replace him. 'The problem we have with that,` he said, 'is that Johnny Mullins can play right-back but he`s playing ever so well at the back at the minute. Though it does ease the problem if Ryan Cresswell is fit because Cresser can go in there and Mullins can move to right-back.

'But, we are still looking and if we can find one that we think is good enough then we will definitely bring him in.

'Also, at this present time, I`d like to see more balls in our box but that`s down to your wingers and full-backs joining in. So, at the moment, we`ll sit and wait and see but, of course, there`s not too long left before the deadline closes.`

Both Henderson and Kennedy played the full ninety minutes for the Millers last night and both did well, especially Kennedy who made some good runs into the box and should have been given a penalty in the opening minutes.

It was also nice to see Cress out there before the game, having a pre-match warming up session with the team.
