RUFC - Randall still has part to play

Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore, insists that midfielder Mark Randall, who is on loan from Arsenal, still has a big part to play for the Millers.

The twenty-one year old, who has also had loan spells with Burnley and MK Dons, joined the Millers, originally on a three month deal, in October but doesn`t really seem to have taken to League Two football. In his first game for the Millers at Southend, he only lasted twenty minutes after breaking a collar bone. He came back in January and scored his only goal, up to now, in the five-nil win over Port Vale. The last game he featured in was in February at Oxford.

Speaking to The Advertiser, Moore said, 'He`s not adjusted to League Two, which is why he`s been on the bench. Playing in League Two is nothing like playing at Arsenal and he`s not used to people closing him down.

'But, he`s learning in training where we are trying to do man-to-man marking with him.

'He`s a quality player and if he can add different parts to his game then he still has a part to play for us this season.`
