'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC- Moore 'we need to get into their ribs'

Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore says that if Bury win on Saturday against the Millers the two at the top will have widened the gap on the others below who are trying to get into third spot.

Speaking to Radio Sheffield Moore said, 'It`s a game we know we can`t afford to lose and, I`m sure, if they play the way they did on Tuesday, where everyone gave their all, we can do that.

'The only disappointment on Tuesday night was the way we gave a goal away from a throw-in, it was sloppy. He scored on the near post and you`d think Woggy (Andy Warrington) would do a little bit better in that position and he`s a bit unhappy about it.

'It was eight games on the trot, away from Don Valley, where we`ve conceded first, It`s difficult enough when you are away from home but if you are conceding and trying to chase it even harder and so we need to put that right.

'But, the most important thing first is to get this Bury game done. They are a nice footballing side and they`ll want to play and they`ve won four on the trot so are on a great run. It won`t be easy but I look at our squad of players and the team that will play and I think we are better than them. We have enough quality in our side to go and do some damage to them. But, it`s alright me thinking it, we have to go out and do it.

'Bury have some good players who want to pass it and want to play and who`s movement is good. So, we have to make sure when we come under the cosh that we defend well. And, if we do that, we`ve got enough going the other way to give them one or two problems.

'Alan Knill was in the same position last year then they had that little wobble so he will be hoping they can sustain that and it`s up to us to make sure they don`t. We need to get into their ribs and to play. We`ve got a game plan that we think can do serious damage to them and hopefully it works.`
