RUFC - Loyalty Scheme for Fans

Rotherham United intend to reward the loyal fans who have supported them throughout their stay at Don Valley when they move into their new stadium.

At a Fans Forum held on Thursday, the club said they are looking at a loyalty scheme for those who have been regular supporters over the four years, as it will be before the move is made, at DVS.

The naming rights of the new stadium will be commercially acquired but Chairman, Tony Stewart said that the fans would be asked for suggestions for naming areas inside the ground such as the stands and bars.

The Derek Dalton clock was also mentioned and it is hoped that, when the time comes, it will be taken from its present home at Millmoor and put in the new ground.

The Buy-a-Brick scheme, that many supporters subscribed to over five years ago and never saw anything for, was also talked about and Mr Stewart said that there is intention to put up a large commemorative plaque in the new stadium.
