RUFC - Moore 'good to have Cress back'

Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore told Radio Sheffield that it was good to have his skipper, Ryan Cresswell back.

Cress has been out for a while, firstly with a broken collarbone and then, as he had recovered from that, he went over on his ankle during a training session which left him injured and out again for a few weeks.

'It was great to get him through this game,' Moore said.

'He could have scored today. He's come and had a real go at it when he had a chance of getting his head knocked off by the 'keeper.

'He was cramping up with twenty minutes to go but we just took no notice of him and left him out there because the ninety minutes was what he needed. He's got through it really well and I was pleased for him.

'But I thought John Mullins was absolutely fantastic today. I thought he was the Man of the Match by a mile. I know the sponsors gave it to Dale Tonge but I'm sure Tongey would give it to John Mullins because I think, deep down, everyone knows he was a man mountain today.

'He's got blocks in and he looks accomplished. We brought him in as a right back but he looks better playing at centre-back.'
