RUFC - Millers to help set new record at B2net?

Rotherham United are travelling the short distance for their first ever visit to Chesterfield`s B2net stadium on Friday night and they could be involved in a new record at the ground.

The most the ground, only opened this season, has held for a League game is when Chesterfield entertained Burton Albion when there were 7,864 fans in the ground.

The Millers have sold their allocated 2,500 tickets and it is expected, that although the game is live on Sky TV, that there will be a new league gate record for the stadium on Friday night.

In fact, the actual record for the ground is 9,141 which was for an U19 friendly between England and Germany last month and, reports are saying, that record could be well challenged on Friday.

When the final whistle goes Millers fans will be asked to stay in their seats for ten-fifteen minutes to allow the home fans to leave the stadium first.
