RUFC - Moore looking for more loan players

Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore told MillersPlayer that, with Danny Coid having to return to Blackpool after the weekend, he is looking for another right-back.

'We`ve been looking,` Moore said, 'but we have got Fenton who is fit now. And, if he can go back in at centre-half we can put Johnny Mullins at right-back but I don`t really want to move him because he`s done ever so well.

'Myself, Graham Brown, Andy Liddell, Andy Dibble, Jimmy Mullen have been looking this week trying to find a right-back but it`s difficult. There are a lot of young kids out there but at the stage we are at we don`t really want the young kids. So, it might be that we do have to move Mullins but if I can get someone in before the deadline then that`s what I`ll be trying to do.`

With the loan deadline looming, Moore said, 'We are always looking to strengthen and if the right player becomes available then I`m sure the Chairman will allow us to bring him in.`

Asked about the Omar Daley situation, Moore said, 'I want this put to bed. As far as I`m concerned he`s here until the end of the season and the same thing at the other end with Kevin Ellison.

'Liam Henderson reminds me of Alan Lee so much and we are trying our hardest to not only keep him until the end of the season but to actually get him signed up. We`ll speak to Watford and see what their ideas are and what they are doing with him but I think he`s got a great future with loads to work with and I`m looking forward to the challenge with him.

'We have a twenty-four hour recall on Kevin Ellison (Bradford), Tom Pope (Port Vale) and Jamie Green (Boston) so there`s not a problem if we need them.`
