RUFC - Millers top striker up for award

Rotherham United striker, Adam Le Fondre has been short listed for the NPower Player of the Year Award.

Up to now, Alfie has scored twenty-one goals in the thirty-nine games he has played in, including four in the 6-4 win over Cheltenham in August at Don Valley, twenty of those goals being in the League. At present he is the second top scorer in League Two, being three goals behind Bury's Ryan Lowe.

The players who are nominated for this award in League Two are

Gareth Ainsworth - Wycombe
Ryan Lowe - Bury
Alfie - Millers

Fans were asked to vote for their top players via the NPower website and then the top ranked players from each club were used to compile a list for an expert judging panel to pick from.

The winner will be announced on Sunday, 20th March 2011 at the Football League Awards Ceremony

WELL DONE, ALFIE! And Good Luck!
