RUFC - Alf staying - Taylor free to move on

Rotherham United Manager, Ronnie Moore says that Adam Le Fondre is going nowhere but his strike partner, Ryan Taylor is free to move on at the end of the season if he wants to do so.

Both strikers have said they won`t sign new contracts for the time being and with Taylor`s contract finishing in the summer he could go out looking for a new club. But, Alfie is contracted to the Millers for another year.

Speaking to David Beddows of The Advertiser, Moore said, 'As a football club we can`t do anymore to get Ryan to sign a new contract. We have made him a fantastic offer but he wants to sit and wait and see.`

Moore had nothing but praise for the young striker but also said that it was fitness coach, Paul Warne who had helped him get to where he is by staying behind with him after training and working on his upper body strength with him.

Talking about the Millers` top scorer, Moore said, 'Alfie is going nowhere. He`s contracted for another year and unless someone comes in and offers £2 million then there is no way I can see the Chairman letting him go.`
