RUFC - Skipper backs Liddell and Warne

RUFC - Skipper backs Liddell and Warne

Rotherham United skipper, Ryan Cresswell has given his full backing to the new management team at the club.

After Ronnie Moore and Jimmy Mullen parted company with the club on Tuesday, Andy Liddell and Paul Warne are in charge for the near future, and possibly until the end of the season.

Speaking to the Press Association, the twenty-three year old defender said, 'They are good at what they do and both ultra professional. And, they have got the full backing of the lads.'

Speaking about the dismissal of the man who brought him back to his home club from Bury last summer, Cresswell said, 'On behalf of the team we are disappointed that Ronnie has been sacked because of our performances. We know we have been a bit below par but there have been times when we have been unlucky.'
