'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Harrison 'draws are no good'

Rotherham United Midfielder, Danny Harrison says tomorrow`s game against Morecambe is 'massive.`

Speaking to The Advertiser, the former Tranmere Rovers player, who was handed the captain`s armband on Tuesday, said, 'With the number of games that`s left, tomorrow`s game is a massive one. It`s so tight and draws are no good to us now, we`ve got to win as many as we can and see where it takes us.

'We know where we should be and we`re certainly good enough for the play-offs, which, at the minute, has got to be the main aim. And we`ve got to believe we can do it otherwise the season will fizzle to nothing and we can`t let that happen because we`ve come to close to let this go.`

Speaking about Tuesday nights loss to Shrewsbury, Danny said, 'Take the mistakes out of it and you can`t legislate for individual mistakes, then there was nothing in it.
We`ve got to get on with it, because there`s nothing major needs doing. The work rate and the chances were there but things didn`t quite go for us on the night. It`s tough going on that pitch and it`s not ideal but we got on with it as best we could and created some decent chances.`

'With Warney (Paul Warne) and Lidds (Andy Liddell) there has been an emphasis on getting around people and upping the work rate and when they brought Mark Bradley and me back into the team that was one of the main things they wanted from us.

'But everyone on the pitch worked their socks off in both games and there won`t be a team that will out work us for the rest of the season.

'I didn`t know before the game I would be made captain and it was a big honour. They believed in me and, as one of the more senior players, felt I deserved the chance to be made captain.'
