'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Thomas-Moore 'my dad will be back'

Rotherham United striker, Ian Thomas-Moore says that his dad, Ronnie, will bounce back into management.

Speaking to David Beddows of The Advertiser, Ian said, 'My dad lives and breathes football and wants to get back involved as soon as possible although I think he appreciates that it will probably be the summer before anything happens. He`s got as good a lower league track record as anyone so I`m sure there will be chairmen out there who are thinking about him already.`

The striker, who got a hat-trick in his first game under Andy Liddell and Paul Warne didn`t necessarily agree with the decision to sack his dad saying, 'Rotherham hadn`t been out of the top six for those two years he`d been here and I think it was dodgy timing to make that decision. But, the Chairman has made it and I`ve just got to get on with it. I`ve got another year left on my contract after this season and I just want to play as much as I can.`
