'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Pope raring to go

Rotherham United caretaker Manager, Andy Liddell says that striker, Tom Pope is raring to go, after he used the emergency twenty-four hour call-back in his loan spell with Port Vale.

Pope joined Vale in January, originally for a month, which was extended until the end of the season with the call back clause in and has played thirteen times for them scoring three goals.

Speaking to David Beddows of The Advertiser, Lidds said, 'It`s unfortunate for Tom because he is a Vale fan and he was enjoying it there.

'But, he is a Rotherham player and we need all the players we can get for the run-in. He`s fit, he`s back playing regular football and he`s raring to go.`
