'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Scott on his appointment to Millers

Rotherham United's new Manager, Andy Scott says he feels privileged to be at the helm of the Millers.

Speaking after signing a three year deal today, Andy said, 'I feel privileged to be managing this progressive and ambitious club.

'It is a job that I really wanted and to be able to share the ambition of the board is something I aim to work hard to achieve and I will be working tirelessly to replicate what I did in my first full season at Brentford.'

In his first full season in charge of Brentford, Andy led them to the Football League Two title and was awarded the BBC London Manager of the Year for 2008 as well as the Coca Cola League Two Manager of the Month for April/May. In 2009 he was runner up for the League Managers Association Manager of the Year Award for League Two. After losing four-one to Dagenham and Redbridge in February Scott, and his assistant Terry Bullivant, was sacked.
