'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - View from the Opposition

Rotherham United Manager, Andy Scott saw his first game in charge end in a stalemate yesterday at Don Valley against Hereford United, saying that his team gave him everything and that he thought they deserved to win.

After the game, Hereford Manager, Jamie Pitman told Radio Hereford and Worcester that he thought his side competed very well.

'It wasn`t a pretty game and the pitch was a disgrace with six inch pot holes all over it. We were against a side that just launched it forward and that was difficult to play against but we got some great blocks in and stayed with the runner and worked very hard to get a well earned point,` Pitman said.

'At half-time I told the lads they needed to do a little bit better than they were showing in the first half and the game opened up in the second half and we had our moments and at the end we maybe could have nicked it.`

What do you think? Could the Bulls have 'nicked it' at the end? Or were the Millers always on top?
