'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC -Bradley wants to impress

Rotherham United midfielder, Mark Bradley, hasn`t exactly set the team alight since he joined from Walsall last summer. Injuries and the odd International call-up probably haven`t helped him be the impact he, and the fans, expected him to be. But, now with a new manager in charge he is hoping to make an impression.

Speaking to David Beddows of The Advertiser, the twenty-three year old said, 'My injuries and Wales call-ups at the start of the season killed me - I was disappointed with how many injuries I got.`

Mark has made twenty-one appearances for the Millers this season, scoring his only goal in the Johnstone`s Paint Trophy against Burton Albion.

'I want to impress the new gaffer,` Mark said, 'and be in the team week in week out.` He was asked to play in an unfamiliar roll on the right on Saturday against Hereford and he said, 'I`ve tucked in on the right a couple of times in the past for Walsall but not too often. In previous games I think I`ve huffed and puffed a bit but not on Saturday where I had a bit more freedom and enjoyed it more.

'It`s been a bit strange having had three managers in a short time, but hopefully I, and the team, can now push on. We are still looking to get in the play-offs but, if we don`t manage it, then next season is going to be a big season.`

Mark has got seventeen U21 caps for Wales and got a full cap in May last year against Croatia and said, 'I`m too old to play for the Wales U21 side but I`ve not given up playing for the full Welsh side. I got picked to play one game when I hadn`t even got a club so if I can do well for Rotherham and play games then hopefully I can get back in. '
