RUFC - Scott wants players to trust him

Rotherham United Manager, Andy Scott is asking his players to trust him as he starts to think about next season.

Before the two-all draw with Aldershot on Saturday, Scott told his players to look on the game as the first of the new campaign and was pleased, after going two down in the first eleven minutes, at the comeback.

'I was delighted with the response,` Scott told Les Payne of The Star, 'and the way they grafted because that shows a little bit of the mental strength that I`m looking for come next season.

'There are some good players here but they have had some knocks in this second half of the season and their confidence is low. But I`ve told them to look ahead because they are good players and to trust me and trust in what I`m trying to do. In return I will give them all the support I possibly can. I`ll help them out, I`ll fight tooth and nail for them if they do the same for me."
