'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Scott has things clear in his mind

Rotherham United Manager, Andy Scott, has quite a few decisions to make in the next couple of weeks regarding his players and also his backroom staff.

He has said that he will be speaking to everyone on Monday regarding who he wants to keep and who he is going to let go.

Speaking to Radio Sheffield this evening about his backroom staff, Scott said, 'Speaking to the Chairman when I first came here I knew that the staff here had been in charge of the games recently and I felt that it was fair that there was still that bit of continuity.

'I saw what they did and was able to assess that and make a fair decision based on that. Looking at everything that`s gone on behind the scenes and being amongst it and seeing how it`s been done I think that was the right way to do it. I can make a judgement on what was going on before and identify where and why there were problems and I think I`ve done that. I`ve got things pretty clear in my mind of how I want to go and that will come in due course.`

At the end of the interview speaking about top scorer Adam Le Fondre, who has a year left on his contract, Andy Scott said, 'He`ll be here next season.`
