RUFC - Evans signs in
Rotherham United have today signed striker Gareth Evans from Bradford City.
Twenty-three year old Evans was with both Crewe Alexandra and Manchester United during his Youth career before eventually joining his home town, Macclesfield in 2007 where he became a regular in the first team eventually scoring nineteen goals in just over eighty appearances.
In June 2009 Evans moved to Bradford City scoring thirteen goals in fifty-six games. Gareth became one of eleven players to be released by the Bantams at the end of last season due to 'financial reasons.`
