'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Scott wants a better scouting system

Rotherham United`s Chief Scout, Graham Brown resigned last week and has taken up a similar role with Notts County.

Millers Manager, Andy Scott told MillersPlayer that he wished Graham all the best.`

Speaking about the scouting, Scott said, 'It`s an area where we will be looking to bring in someone and establish a better scouting system based on watching a lot more games and having a better and wider knowledge, certainly of non-league players around the area, but also covering the whole country and maybe abroad as well.`

Brown, who played in goal for the Millers as well as Chelsea, Tottenham and Sheffield United, told County`s Official Site that the move was a great challenge.

'It`s a club with a tremendous reputation, and it's a magnificent job for me and I`m lucky enough to join Martin Allen, who's got a reputation as a very good coach. Our aim is to be pressing for promotion. I`ve only been here a short period and already you get caught up in the atmosphere.`

Magpies Manager, Martin Allen said, 'I'm delighted to have got Graham Brown because he's got great knowledge of football at all levels, great energy, great enthusiasm. He just loves watching football matches and finding footballers.`
