'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Scott 'Ryan our biggest asset'

Rotherham United Manager, Andy Scott, says that there have been a couple of offers from Championship clubs for striker, Ryan Taylor who has turned down the new contract offer made to him.

Speaking to MillersPlayer yesterday, Scott said, 'I`ve spoken to several managers about him and we are anticipating that he will go to a good club. I believe he`s meeting with a couple of clubs this week and I imagine, within the next week or two, there may be some movement there. But then it`s whether we can agree a fee with the club or whether it will have to go to a tribunal.

'With Ryan being with the club for so long, and with the offers we`ve already received, he is probably our biggest asset at the club and to lose him will be a big blow and we will need to be compensated for that which a tribunal would do.`
