RUFC -Taylor heading for Robins?

Rotherham United striker, Ryan Taylor looks set to join Bristol City after it seems he had a change of heart about joining Millwall.

It is understood that the twenty-three year old had a 'verbal understanding` with the Lions but failed to turn up for a meeting with Millwall Manager, Kenny Jackett, who is, understandingly, furious.

Bristol City Manager, Keith Millen, told the Bristol Evening News that he was resigned to the fact that Taylor was going to Millwall earlier in the week but it is now expected that he will meet with Taylor when he is back from an overseas trip after the weekend, although no deal will be done until the two have met.

After turning down a new contract with the Millers, Ryan is a free agent but, because he is under twenty-four, Rotherham will expect compensation.

Millwall are refusing to comment.
